Non Traditional Art Material

For this project I decided to make a big car freshener that you could hang like over a building instead of in a car.  I haven't finished the project but I used cardboard and paper to make the tree itself.  Using the paper and glue I covered the cardboard which was very messy.  I then used spray paint to color the tree red.  Then creating stencils I used glitter to make the writing for the tree which was even more messy.  My next steps for this project is to use yarn or some sort of rope and hang it in the courtyard.

Post Modern Principle

Carrying on from the last project of essential question I finally finished my painting of downtown Apex. It just worked out that it fit the next project of Post Modern Principle as Artist Steal.  I stole the painting technique of Van Gogh's Starry Night but instead painted downtown Apex. It only took a little over a month but in the end I'm so happy with how this turned out in the end.
